photograph from a wedding at Promontory Point, Hyde Park Chicago, where it started pouring rain just after the outdoor ceremony. The rain was so heavy you could see it coming down in verticle slants. Beautiful!

Dad teaching his daughter to ride her bike without training wheels
What better event to photograph than a fleeting moment in time that passes in amount a month? In this case it was the occassion of a Dad spotting his daughter on her bike right after taking the training wheels off. We had such a small time frame to shoot this before she was off on her own. While taking these photographs in Wicker Park several people walking by said “oh yeah, that seems like yesterday!…. It passes so fast.” I think this must mean its a great thing to photograph…a genuine family photograph. the thing that passes so quickly but that you can remember so vividly.
