Putter is a schnauzer mix, a gorgeous and sweet 9 year old dog who only has eyes for only one person….his best friend Jeff. 
He is not subtle at all, he begs for his attention and gets desperate at the prospect of going for a walk…
He loves having his portrait taken when bartered for a walk with Jeff…
This is sophie, golden retriever extraordinaire. I photographed her at the end of October and got too busy to show her so I’m taking the time now because she is gorgeous and sweet and I want to share her love and put you in a good mood…..
One of Sophie’s best friends!
Sophie wasn’t easy to photograph, she was a fast runner with a huge yard and wanted to roll around in the leaves and chase cars near the fence the entire time. She pretty much refused to pose at all! I don’t blame her…
Finally, after coming inside after a long day she collapsed on the wood floor and 3 minutes later she was out….
Collins is being groomed and pampered waiting to be given to parents for a christmas gift. What an adorable puppy he is…a cream and white tibetan terrier.
I photographed him so that his life as a troublemaking puppy could be preserved and given along with him as the gift…..
He is not lacking energy, that is absolute
It might look like he is calm here but he actually just got stuck in between two pillows and he is trying to figure out how to undo himself….
The new parents have no idea what is in store for them!
Snappy (white) and Lucky (orange) are transplants from Japan….Golden Retriever mixes and the best of friends. Good looking, sweet, warm, affectionate, mellow but spunky and very mischievious. You couldn’t ask for cooler dogs!
Chase was a little hesitant to meet me……whatever corner I went around he was there at the other end giving me this look!
I knew it was going to be hard to win him over…if he wasn’t giving me the look above, then he was looking off into the distance aloofly as if I were just a figment of his imagination…
Chase led a rough life in Indiana before being rescued by a veterinarian and adopted by a great owner living in the South Loop of Chicago…..
Now Chase is living in Style with lots of love, comfie blankets, treats, and great skyline views. He lays up on the windowsills like a cat and watches city life intently…I always hear cat owners saying their cats are like dogs but I’ve rarely heard about a poodle dog being like a cat!
Chase got LOTS of treats this day and secretly I think he started to like me…he even started to show off his extreme good looks and stylish hair cut…
I took this as a sign that he was letting me into his favorite room…the kitchen! So I followed him in and we got more treats.
Now it was time for a walk…he started putting on this great happy face and he took me on a tour of the south loop which he loves….
He took me to his favorite park where he likes to sit on the steps and watch squirrels, birds and the leaves starting to turn colors….
The smell of curry coming from the South Loop Chicago Curry House around the corner started to drift into the park and Chase was up again ready to find it…..
We made our way back through the city towards home…
